This is an iron on patch of an old prestigious Army Unit.Research for the Soldier. in the 80,s this group was primarily stationed at the Presidio San Francisco, Walter Reed, Md and Fitzsimmons in Co. Two of the former were nicknamed as LAIR AND WRAIR Letterman Army Institute of Research and Walter Reed Institute of Research. The Army designation for the soldiers of these units was O1H.
Great for a Collector as LAIR no longer exists.
