Questions & Comments
Did you leave the shipping unspecified on purpose? Did you mean to put free shipping? I love the look...can't wait to get the pink one I won. :)
Yeah its free shipping I went back and added it. This one is similar to your pink one except where you have 4 beads in each cluster there are now 6 smaller beads.
Nice design! Do you have your jewelry posted anywhere? I put photos of most of the things I make on photobucket, http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/gg146/natahoa/Jewelry/. It's free and kind of fun to be able to show people. I don't actually sell any of my jewelry but if I wanted to start, I could just send people to that link. Plus you can keep photos on there even after you have sold or given them away on Listia!
No I dont have it posted anywhere but here lately I have been coming up with a with a bunch of new designs and I have been thinking maybe I could sell them on ebay? I checked it out and there are so many and a few with similar designs. But there were a lot that were the the same. Anyway thanks for the info I'll have to check it out.
Honestly, Joy, you will spend more money on ebay than you will make. Selling jewelry is very difficult because there is SO much of it everywhere. I make beautiful things and everyone loves them and says I should sell them, and maybe I'll give it a try, but my gut tells me it would be more trouble than it's worth. If you can find a little gift shop nearby that takes consignments, or maybe try etsy or bonanzle, which are very inexpensive. But before you post on ebay (which is complex as well as expensive) you should search completed listings for similar items, see what they are selling for (if they are selling at all) and determine if it's worth your time and money to list there.
I hate to be Debby Downer, but I always advise people who are buying my beads and supplies to make jewelry for the fun of it, and for gifts, and don't assume they can make money selling it. You can very rarely make money on any types of crafts, because everyone LOVES to make them and lots of people try to sell them, the supply simply oustrips the demand.
Hey, just wanted to say I love the bracelet I got and I hope I win this one too. I think Nancy is right BUT don't let that stop you from trying. If you love doing it just don't expect a lot and then you can be surprised not let down. You do a very nice job with Swarovski crystals. I have been putting my stuff in a local consignment store and am trying a second one. They sell a lot of jewelry but we are a small town so unique and sparkly sells well. I bet you might find that somewhere else. We have a giving heart and we love making stuff too. Anyways... good luck even if you just list here to bless others who may not be able to afford a $20 bracelet or necklace. That is what I love about Listia.
Thank you. I did go down to my local bead store and they are putting this flower one in there and selling it for $42.00 I thought that was kinda expansive nut considering each little bead cost .40 and there are over 100 beads on it plus work. will see what happens. I'll let you know.
