About your AU 1925 Peace Dollar---->

This 1925 Peace Dollar was struck at the Philadelphia and San Francisco Mints, with the majority of coins produced at the former. Similar to the prior year, the Philadelphia Mint issue is commonly found in high grades, while the San Francisco Mint coin is difficult to find in gem.

The 1925-S Peace Dollar is the second most difficult coin of the series to find graded MS65. Nearly all examples of this issue are encountered with extremely poor strikes, bag marks, abrasions, and dull luster which preclude higher grades. Even some of the examples which have been graded MS65 exhibit softness of strike, which makes them less desirable than a fully struck gem. Fewer than 100 coins have been graded MS65 by the major grading services PCGS and NGC. There has never been a 1925-S Peace Dollar graded MS66.
