The listing, Customized Handmade Beaded Bobby Pins has ended.

Ok so I got a lot of requests about custom beaded bobby pins so here we are. I will do a seperate one for dragonflies later. This auction IS NOT for the beads pictured - those are your color and style choices. This is for a set of bobby pins in your style and color choice combination!

Style: Flower. This will featured a beaded flower like on the chain, but leaves like on the single flower.

Stye: Floral. This features a chain of flowers.

Wave: This has a body color(s) with a complementing wave for a more funky feel. This is my personal favorite as it goes with so many outfits

I have listed choices from pictures in order from left to right, top to bottom or in clockwise fashion. A few keys:

Interior/exterior: means the bead has one color at the center with a clear colored coating of the second color

Matte: a flat bead without the polished shine

Pinched: slightly pulled in to create a darkened streak at the line of crease

Finish: Another color was applied at end of process so it creates shiny gloss instead of coloring the bead itself

Also beads have either a D (detail) or a B (body) next to them. Flower and floral are D beads ONLY. Waves has a D and a B to create it or if you'd like it can use only D. Other than that any number of colors, kinds, anything. It's yours so customize it!

I think Listia would be a GREAT venue for beads and other craft supplies. I listed a bunch of beads and people are asking me to list more craft supplies. I think we could get an excellent craft swap/recycling program going here.

I've put in a request to Listia to create some new categories ... separate categories for "handmade crafts" and "craft supplies" with sub-categories that would include "yarn," "stitching," "metal," "gem," and ESPECIALLY "beads and findings." Thousands, possibly MILLIONS, of beaders would participate. I've searched for "bead swap" sites and almost all of them are completely inactive. New beads and findings can be very expensive, and people would love to get them for free.

I think Listia could be the first great "bead swap" and craft material recycling site. If you agree, send a message to Listia via "contact help" at the bottom on the page, then click on "submit a request."

Those beads are actually the red with green coating. I don't actually have any straight brown seed beads at the moment (they are on order still), but I do have that set and can make another no problem.
