Description

The listing, 6 Jerusalem artichoke tubers for plantinbg has ended.

You are bidding on 6 Jerusalem artichokes (also called sunchoke) tubers, sized for planting, not for eating. Jerusalem Artichoke being a valuable food for diabetics and hypoglycemics. Sunchokes store very well if kept in the ground. A small amount of tubers can provide you with a lifetime of fresh sunchokes. They grow well in just about any type of soil and under adverse conditions. They are delicious and can be eaten cooked or raw. Ordered some and loved it. Each plant will yield about 5 to 8 lbs of sunchokes. It tastes like water chestnut when raw and cooked like a potato.

The tubers are not large enough to eat, eidible. When they grow to a decent size, they are delicious.
