This is a very nice 7" gold bracelet. It shows no wear. It is thinner than an average tooth pick as shown in pic. The links are very small...
I took it to a jeweler and she said that it is gold plated over sterling silver. She scratched both the chain and the clasp on her metal tester and put some drops on them to find that it was gold plated. She used a jewelers magnet and it did not stick so she knew that way that the gold plating was not over potted metal or it would have stuck to the magnet. She did tell me that the clasp is also gold plated but because of the metal spring inside of it, it stuck to the magnet. She used a jewelers magnifying glass and could also see the spot where the tag that probably had the 925 GP stamp on it was missing from. She valued it to be about $35 to $40 if she were to sell it in the store. :) I was happy to hear that of course. I have an email from the jeweler stating her findings.
