Description

The listing, Dogs Like Mystery Boxes Too Momma!!! has ended.

As I was putting the finishing touches on the Kitty mystery box that just ended this weekend, my cockerdoodle Jeff looked at me crossly and said "Dogs like mystery boxes too mommy!"

Okay, so before you think I am totally nuts he didn't actually "say" those words...he insted nudged my hand so I could not put the tape on the box properly and then went "hurumph" and flopped down on the floor with his head on his paws and then made this pitiful moan...I translated it as the above...lol!

So, with that said! Here's yet another small flat rate mystery box packed full, but this time with dog treats, toys and such! These would be toys and treats that I personaly give my dogs, so no junk!

I will need to know what size your dog is at the end and how many you have as dogs are a little harder to pack for than kittys..lol. And like the kitty auction, if you have a four legged bow wow, tell me about him or her...and any other pets you have!

Here's sending your fuzzy wuzzy, green and scally, tiny and fluffy or featherd buddy a hug! >^.^<

Sherri, you are awesome to do this for our 4 legged babies. I have a 1yr, 6lb girl red toy pom, Trixie, a 1yr 6lb girl black toy poo pom, Roxie, a 3yr 10 lb black boy pom, Mikko and an old lady age 14 20lb black pom, Sasha. Sasha was given to my son when he was 4 after a traumatic experience, I rescued Mikko from a home that kept him outside all the time and he is scared of everything, is blind in one eye, and has incontinence problems when someone bends over him, (submissive pees), can't find a home for him because he barks too much, he's just scared and no one understands. I have to drug him when it storms and when the yard guys come. And, so sorry Sherri, but on an impulse one day about a month after my husband passed away bought Roxie and Trixie. My son and I could not decide on which one we wanted. We were just "lookin" and ended up comin home with them. My extended family has fits, with 4 barkin dogs when the door is hit by strangers, or anyone for that matter. You can't hear yourself think let alone talk. (I need the dog whisperer!) But all 3 sleep with me and keep me sane!! Without them don't know what I would have done. They are very playful and love love their "cookies" and toys, I make them toys out of old socks with balls in the toes, all go thru a doggy door that has cement and mulch and never never touch grass. They don't seem to mind it, they run through my 2 bedroom condo like it was a gym! Poms are known for allergies to grass and my old lady has had her problems so don't let the younger ones get started. I'm gonna breed the two babies, the others are fixed, but now I need a toy male! What to do? Get another one? That will be 5 and my family will disown me or never come to my home. So these are my babies. I will be watching for another auction as I don't have any credits this time. I'm your fan.

"HANNAH" loves her toys and treats, so I'm hoping I can make this happen for her. She's such a big BABY! 8 month old Dobie, and her big "brother" Peppy is just as big baby as her...he's a boxer. Both of them are super sweet, but Hannah is the one for toys and treats. Goes through grocery bags or shopping bags just to see what we bought.

My name is Marco, and I was rescued by Mommy 16 months ago. I am either a long haired Jack Russell or a Jack Russell/Westie mix. I weigh about 12 pounds and am a Mama's boy. I love popcorn and ice cream, but dont care for toys at all or treats much.either. I love to chase anything that moves outdoors. I brought 2 different snakes into the house (neither poisonous) and was bitten by another one that wasn't poisonous. They are more fun than toys. lol I am a cuddle bug indoors, but let me out and watch out. I am a good boy on a leash though. Hope the auction does well. There was a pet auction on here several months ago, but this is the first since, I think.

I am glad that other peoples dogs have weird cravings too...my little chihuahua Abby Rose loves everything except popcorn. Most dogs love popcorn but she wont touch it..lol..her favorite treat is tangerines. she loves fruit..lol...she is so funny and lively and loves to play all the time. she loves to fetch and sings on command. she is so much fun to have around. I dont have any kids so she is my baby girl and dont think she doesn't know it either...she has me wrapped around all 4 of her little paws...lol GREAT AUCTION SHERRI

Lol...well I do mystery boxes all the time and I love doing them...I had a lot of kitty toys left over from buying them for my 4 and my room mates 5 cats...I was packing the winners box and Jeff would not leave me alone...I would try to put tape on the box and he would grab it. I would turn to grab something and he would jump in my lap to see what it was...needless to say he came up with the idea...lol...What type of doggy do you have?

ahmm our dog is named "Chaos",,,he is a labrador (yeah he is big and heavier than me lol),,my husband had him for 8 years already,,Chaos is my protector here at the house since i don't work yet ( i just moved here in the US). He is our baby at the house (my husband and i just got married 2mos ago lol)...,,he knows some tricks, my husband would tell him to sit, lie down, dead or shake hands and he would do that...he is such a smart dog..he knows when he wants to go out to pee (he would go to me or my husband as if telling us he wants to go out already then my husband would say, "do you want to go out Chaos?then go to the door,,then Choas would run to the door lol),,he loves treats and playing with toys that squeeks..he would also bring his toys to me or my husband and we have to throw it and he would run after it and catch it,,one thing i am not comfortable with is that when he feels or notice someone at the front door we would always bark so loud lol ( i know he is just protecting me )..My husband would tell him sometimes "Chaos you're living like a king" lol,,there was a time about three weeks ago, he tore apart his couch/pillow (which was old enough already) as if telling my husband "hey daddy i need a new couch/pillow now lol and my husband was really laughing at him and told him "ah now you're trying to say i should get you a new pillow hahaha..and of course we got him a new one after that...so that's our dog CHAOS :)

I had already thought of checking into rescuing when we do get a pet (or pets hehe) because I don't necessarily want babies. I'm fine with adults as long as there aren't going to be problems with the kids and everything. Thanks so much AMSPINKS for the recommendation. I will definitely look into Lhasa Apso's. My kids LOVE animals, so I want to make sure when we do get them some that they will be good for the kids because I don't want to have to rehome them I want it to be like my chihuahua was for me...there for life :) I would get a chihuahua even because I loved mine so much, but I know the ones I have ever had contact with anyway aren't good with small children and my kids are going to be chasing the poor thing around I'm sure so I want to make sure I get one that would be ok with that and will play back with them instead of end up biting them.

Well, to be fair to the kittys..lol..I want to keep this one small, but I do plan on listing another simular auction this weekend that will be a tell me what kinda pet you have auction. I must say what I have planned to go in already has a retail value between $30 & $40..but It will be changed up a bit depending on the winner...because I don't want to send a little squeek toy to the owner of a Mastif...lol!

We have a boston terrier/rat terrier mix that is the best with our kids. Oreo greets each one every morning and follows them everywhere. We had to buy the dog a life jacket because she would get tired swimming when trying to stay out with the kids in the lake.

These mystery boxes you are doing for the pets is such a great idea!! We have them on here for the kids and the women and sometimes the men...that is cool that you thought of the pets! I unfortunately don't have any pets right now :( But I would like to change that sometime in the future. I want to get the kids a dog and a cat. Anybody have any suggestions for breeds that would be good for smaller kids (5 and 2) that might possibly get along with cats too? Thanks :) Oh...and good luck on this auction Sherri!! You're so smart :)
Aug 10th, 2010 at 9:47:10 AM PDT by
Original
Lol..I don't know how smart I am...lol...but it is fun to do! As for a pet for kids, i am partial to rescues..Dogs, cats, bunnies, hampsters all can be found at local shelters and ASPCA's...and they need the homes in the worst way. I recommend taking your kids with you to a local shelter that allows walk throughs and let the animal pick you! Lol...I know it sounds strange but you'll know when you have found the right one. Don't fall in love with cute or soft...Look for personality!

(((((Sherri))))) This is such an awesome auction! I cant believe I never thought of it! hehe. My little Princess would absolutely LOVE this! She is a 5lb toy pomeranian who loves her treats! She is already so spoiled but is a wonderful companion! She does cute little tricks for her treats...She stands on her hind legs and will do full circles.....she can throw her head back and say "whats up?"... hehe, shes shakes her paw, she will sit and wait with her treat a few feet away from her and will not go get it until shes told to...and a few others. Shes very sweet, very smart and everyone who meets her wants to take her home with them! LOL I will def be watching and bidding on this one for her! Thanks for listing it! :)

That is so sweet of you to rescue them, you truly have a heart of gold! I would be picky too, they are just like children and all need to go only to a good home where they can feel safe, have fun and be the center of attention!

Yeah, people who MUST get a NEW dog from a breeder or pet store make me scratch my head..lol...I guess it's the bargain hunter in me but I just can see paying hundreds of dollars for a dog when there are so many that need homes for $50-$70...sometimes free. I have experianced full breed and mutts and I have had the best experiance with mutts...my full blood Shitzu, Carmen was a pain in the butt and I think my boyfriend paid over $400 for her, but her "sister" Cynnamon was the sweetest, kindest dog you would ever want to meet and she was a rescue.

You are the bomb diggity and Prissy will love you to pieces!!! Prissy is my little girl! She is a Maltese about 8 1/2 years old, 6 pounds and is still full of energy, loves to run and play outside, but when she is ready to come in, you better not be in her way, LOL!!! She is just like her mama (AKA....ME) and loves to "sun-bathe" but she knows when she's had enough and wants to go inside where it's cool. She loves everyone and never meets a stranger, but she lets us know when anyone pulls into the driveway, she acts like she is a Great Dane or something and when people come into the house, they are like, did that big loud bark come out of her mouth??? LOL!!! She loves her treats more than anything, BUT if you have a dill pickle, you better be willing to share cause she LOVES them!!! I have never heard of a dog liking pickles, but my little girl sure does.

Awesome auction, will be bidding for sure!

Lol Prissy sounds like so much fun!!!!!!!! She almost sound like my Cynnamon who loved dill pickle flavored potato chips! Cynn was a Malti-Shitz-poo...lol...a total mutt, but to me the best friend a girl could have for 5 great years...I rescued her when she was 6...and she lived to a very happy 11...Jeff, my cockerdoodle in the picture above has only been a member of the family a year, but he was rescued by my bestfriend...she had him 5 years and now he is a codgity 10 year old...lol..I also have Abigail, a German Sheppard mix...she was a rescue as well that we saved to rehome...but we have not found the right home for her yet...lol. I can't help it, I'm a picky mommy!
