Hello,
I'm going to do this one a little different. This is a custom made listing for an adorable Christmas tree outfit. It is made of white fabric and trimmed in red and green big polka dot fabric ruffle. Choose from size newborn up to a size 5T. I have a Christmas tree embroidered on the front in colors to match and will add your child's name if you like.

About how big of a 5t would you say? I know this sounds like one of "those" questions, but some 5t still fits my little one and some doesn't (she's wide for her age LOL.... F/w this is ADORABLE, btw! :)

I know what you mean about sizes. I don't even go by sizes anymore in the stores, I just have to try them on my little one. They are a little roomy, but if you need to send me measurements that would be good to. I can make them a little bigger if I need to. :)

how about a pattern for the pants? i have not figured out how to make then, i know how to add the ruffles to the bottom of pants, but i don't know how to make the pants.

It make it simple and save money, you can find a good flat pair of pants the size you want and turn them wrong side out, lay them on your fabric and cut around them, but add extra for a little more room and fabric to join together. :)

Thank you so very much! I just do them similar to a pillowcase dress. Just take enough off the length to make a pleated ruffle to add back to the dress. Does that make sense? lol :)
