Description

The listing, Transformer Toy Old School has ended.

Don't remember much about this one. I'm pretty sure it was a kids meal type toy in the 1980s which means its made better than the new ones. All parts function and is di cast with only a few plastic parts. Great for the collector and still has years of play left.
Stands 3 inches tall.

I am a girl too, but I watched Transformers and GI Joe more than He-Man and She-Ra. I did not like the GoBots cartoon, but I still bought the toys. These were not as flimsy because they were so simple to convert. I have about 25 GoBots somewhere...maybe I will list them :P

GoBots were easily forgotten after the arrival of Transformers. Transformers are much better :)

That's a GoBot. I think its name is Dozer. I have this one also. It is missing its canopy.

Thanks. I do remember these now. I'm a girl lol so I was into my shera and he man. But I sure don't remember them being flimsy like the new ones. And my husband is laughing at me for not remembering "gobot".

I agree transformers were superior because the toys were very well design and also Hasbro was smart to have well known characters because in Japan the toys were in two different toy lines and they didnt have a story or names but when Hasbro brought them to the USA they became Autobots and Decepticons

Hasbro really knew what to do with transformers when they hit the USA

lol I wish I remembered more. My brother had them but I didn't pay much attention. I just remember them not requiring a degree in mechanics, physics and geometry along with a tube of super glue to transform. My son is really into the Transformers but has no interest in the toys because they are just too complicated. It took me 3 days to transform Optimus with instructions only to find it wasn't a flat nose truck and then I was just irritated.
