About the book:
"When Lincoln Farnum and his pals lost their clubhouse, Lincoln decided to use the old firehouse. Even though it was about to be torn down, the building would be a great place to hold a scary initiation for Hands and the Stickballers. The Plum Street Athletic Club had plenty of tricks to pull on their former rivals.
Mrs. Crauch said the firehouse was once an opera house and old Mrs. Patch called it 'the end of the railroad.' What it all meant Lincoln didn't know, but as usual, he got in plenty of trouble finding out!"
