Your the 3rd person I've had ask me about my shipping costs. First off first class mail ($1.90 price you mention) is not available on line. First class mail is available only by going into the post office. The nearest post office from me is 10 miles. I work 12 hour days and I don't have the time.

So fist class mail costs about $2.07 (from my zip of 80237 to a Florida zip code) for one DVD. Plus $2.08 for deliver confirmation (certified mail, While selling on Ebay I learned to always get deliver confirmation). About $1 for the envelope. I have to drive to the post office and my buyer receives the item in 2-9 days. So that's a total of $5.15.

Or I can ship flat rate ($4.90 but I round up to $5) and Ship up to 4 DVD's, get deliver confirmation, ship from my home, and my buyers get their items in 2-3 days.

Listia is the auctioning of goods or services over the internet in exchange for a form or currency. The sold items or services are then delivered to the buyer via email or 3rd party shipping providers. Overall satisfaction is recorded via a feedback system.

Your right that sounds NOTHING like Ebay.
