A pair of solid brass dice from the old west from the late 1800s. They are a 1/2 inch diameter rounded corners dice. They have an antique finish and are heavy. A die (dice is plural) is a small throwable object with multiple resting attitudes, used for generating random numbers or other symbols. The oldest known dice were excavated as part of a 5000-year-old backgammon set in southern Iran.
