Description

The listing, Section of Vintage Army Blanket. 34 x 30. Perfect for primitive projects! has ended.

34" x 30" piece of vintage Army blanket.

Bought the blanket online for two projects; I asked & was told it was sturdy with no weak areas. Not! I washed & dried it several times to shrink & tighten it up but it was not enough for my purposes. Anyway, here it is now - ready for your primitive projects. As you can see there are holes, and it does tear. Holes can be repaired attractively with vintage pillow ticking or leather patches... I can see this becoming throw pillows, or teddy bears.

Smoke-free, cat friendly environment.

Ships same or next day after I have your mailing address.

Thank you for shopping on Listia.com, and at SarahsQuiltsnCrafts!

This blanket is like one that my dad had back in WWII.. I hope I win, so I can give it to him for Christmas.. He was a good Solider, and it will remind him of his Army days..

OK...it's a small piece of the entire blanket and no the whole thing. But I'm sure you saw that.

this is actually a comment in reference to another auction I saw you had listed. The men's shirt that says Listia . It doesn't give an option to bid at all? What is the deal with this? Has Listia tried to remove the auction or what? I've never seen this happen in the few years I have been a member of Listia. thank you for your answer in advance

I removed the auction... no bids only watchers - didn't look like anyone was interested.

my husband was interested. I didn't know you could remove bids and only have watchers?!.. hmmm.. anyways, are you going to resist the item, open to bidders?

I don't know what you are referring to about removing bids and having only watchers...never heard of that. What's the point of having an auction...

also, most people watch items up until the last day, hours or mins. Just bc there are no bids during the auction, just wait it out and watch bid come in towards the end. Plus you can choose to auto realist it if nobody bids.

In my experience, most of my auctions have bids way before the end. The rare few that don't also don't get any bids at all.

This would be OK for some of the applique I do. I need vintage wool and it is hard to find. (that doesn't cost an arm and a leg!!) Thanks F & W, and bidding.

No, sorry.. I did not see that it was not the full blanket until after I bid.. I was in a hurry that day, and had to run.. Wish I could have seen that... Again sorry about that.
