Beautiful ring, and I think your picture is just fine for the purpose of showing that it is a ring. I am sorry but I just started on Lista so I have been looking at a a lot of items and it seems there are more negative comments or comments of people telling them how they should sell their items than there are bids. Even though his comment telling you how to take a pic was not as negative as some I seen I still think your pic is fine for the purpose. People don't go into a retail store and tell them how to set up their items or how to sell them so why go around on what is suppose to be a fun and friendly site telling strangers how to set up their items. @Charming if you re-read my first comment to him, you would see that I was trying to help...but everyone, such as YOURSELF..seem to think that constructive criticism is rude, hateful, etc etc...besides, as a community, I thought we were supposed to be supportive. I Think What some are trying to say is that this guy can not be trusted....not even verified...at all...they may have wings...but he/she/it dosen't fly straight. So...why Listia has not intervened..as far as I can see, I have no idea. Its too bad that not only can he post photos that are bad...no...worse than bad, i dont know. that one pic is so bright i was tempted to ask what kind of batteries does the ring take.

I was just reading through all the comments and I think that the advise was good, but then it seemed to just go on and on, like trying to force the person to take better pics. Once a suggestion is made, then why not just leave it alone? If seller doesn't feel that motivated, that is his perrogotive. This last post was a warning and before taking something at face value I would just make sure that it is factual and true. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to do that, and I would like to see better pics, so I won't be bidding...but that is my choice and that is the privilege we all have here. Now lets have some shopping/selling fun, yes????

I am going to do all of you other Listians a favor, and give a little history lesson. *iredman1955* has been a listian for just a year. For each and every month of membership, this person has a Negative feedback for not sending items to people who have won them. Yes, thats right, A dozen (12) negatives solely for ripping people off and NOT sending out items that were bought and paid for. Now, on to Neutrals - Eighteen (18) these are probably neutrals only for fear of getting a negative themselves, poor buyers!!! There are some for not receiving items, which in my book is a Big Negative!!! Some are for never contacting after he/she won something, and for changing their mind after winning something and now he/she doesnt want it?! And then, there are those neutrals due to a long wait for buyers to receive their items! One auction ended on July 2, and buyer did not receive till July 25th, another ended on June 28th and buyer did not receive till July 19th. Another posted neutral but noted that iredman never completed transaction. 5 Neutrals were for buyers being cheated on shipping charges. One was a dispute because iredman sold an item listed as Italian 92.5 silver, and buyer noted that it was not silver, but he wasnt going to make a big deal about it. (iredman got lucky on that one!) So, the way I figure it, this seller rips people off and never sends the buyer their item more than 17% of the time! I would most certainly not buy anything from a seller with those odds, and neither should anyone else!!! This negative Listian has 168 transactions, and does not have his/her trusted seller wings. There is your indication right there. One year, and not yet a trusted seller! I have been here one month and am already a trusted seller!!! BE WARNED AND BEWARE!!!

No one was being rude, in fact, they are trying to help! If you used a macro setting, which your camera does have, because I have a kodak easyshare, people would be able to really see the quality of the ring. If you want to buy something that may be all scratched up and bent, with cracked stones, go ahead, but when I want to spend my credits on something, its something of quality, and I want to know exactly what Im getting. You have been given very good advice, and you can barely squeeze out more than a one or 2 word reply to your comments, (thanks, thanks, thanks new, thanks, thanks, thanks pretty, thanks, thanks)... so I wouldnt expect you to take the advice that would only benefit you. So much for trying to help someone. Whats rude is, you calling people rude for trying to do YOU a favor. --- However... If you think like this... " think your picture is just fine for the purpose of showing that it is a ring"... then Bravo... ITS A RING!!! (Brilliant!) Than I guess its fine for you...

i ;just checked on walmart site, and the 59.00 easyshare has a micro setting. So yours probably does too. you should set your camera to vga ( takes the pictures in a size convient to send them in an email, and set to the flower when taking a close up, not the optical zoom.

Are you sure your camera doesn't have a macro setting? You would have to take it off automatic for close up shots. Macro is the setting that looks like a tulip flower. I didn't know this for a long time, I always was afraid to change the setting, but play around with the camera a little, its worth it to get nice clear pictures up close.

Don't want to sound mean..or like a hater, but just want to point out that if you learn a little about how to take a photo up close, you would do much better with your listings. Maybe invest in a camera that is capable of Macro Photography. If you look at my items, they were all shot within just a couple inches with a flash...and just look at the difference. That ring would look Awesome WITH A FLASH UNDER THE RIGHT circumstances. That Green I could make look like it came from Emerald City in Wiz Of Oz... Good Luck, Hope I helped....?

Going to sound rash but...If people would learn a little about how to use a camera...and Macro Photography, you would sell much much better. I shoot all my items very close, and they are crystal clear and vibrant. I don't mean to sound condescending, I just think Listers should take more of an intrest in the items they post. That ring 'almost Looks' like it Might be a nice ring..can't tell. And the flashed out photo...why even bother to put that there. Sorry..just trying to help.
