Frame is 7 inches. It works great and was used only once. No scratches, dents or problems.

to be specific , is the frame 7 inches or is the display 7inches. if 7 inch frame how big is the photo display area?

I measured to be very specific. The viewing section of the frame is 6". the complete piece measures 11 inches across and 9 inches tall.

Does this take batteries or does it come with a charger?

It comes with an AC plug for electricity. Doesn't look like batteries.
