The listing, Vintage Sweater Clip has ended.

This is a clip used when wearing a sweater over your shoulders. I am told it is from the 40's, it belonged to my godmother and I am trying to keep only the things with sentimental value in my life. This is costume and I do not think the stones are real turquoise but I am really not positive.

Is that a crack in the righthand stone in the pic w/blue background?

Hello and thank you for your question. I have just re-inspected the stones and they are both crack free. They marbled white and what looks like gold flakes. They look like turquoise to me but I have never checked with a jeweler so I am really not sure. As for the condition of this piece it really is excellent. No nicks, scratches, cracks or wear to my untrained eye. I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any other concerns. Thanks again.

One more thing I need to point out. In looking more closely at the pictures, the metal looks gold or tarnished. The metal is silver. There are not any markings or stamps but there is not any wear on the chain at all. It looks just as new as if you were to buy it at the store today. Also, the picture with the blue background, it appears the right stone has a hair on it. ( How embarrassing! I'm sorry for the confusion)
