I was unaware that there were any free simpoints with the game. I haven't used them, but let's play it safe and say "Yes, the free simpoints have been used up."

An internet connection is required for the game. There is a serial code that I believe is part of the installation process. The serial code is printed on the manual.

I love this game. I think that the free simpoints are only avaliable in the collector's edition. I have this one and it's a great game.

The internet is not required to play the game only to download things from the site to the game
