Sphinx costume brooch gold tone with roll over clasp.
Made in cheswick england and sold at stores like saks 5th ave and neiman marcus. marked shpinx in a oval and numbered. the company operated between 1948-2000.

I think this brooch was probably made and sold in 80's 90's victorian looking but not victorian....nice vintage reproduction
