I'm not sure sry I have never used it and I am out of town and not able to check I did test it in a poorly lit room and it looked fine to me

This item can take still photos i still dont know if it has night vision but i do know that it works fine in a poorly lit room as i have tested it in a poorply lit room. remember everyone is you use the gin i will buy you a memory card for this item i will also add some batteries for you!!!!!!! :) good luck everyone and thank you fror looking
