No lock, I put a privacy screen to protect screen ( thick one) instead of the thin ones. When I got my new samsung galaxy I had US Cellular upated to latest windows program

I used this cell for 2 years and had no problems. It has never been dropped I traveled with this cell all across the US and this particular BlackBerry has GREAT signal!
