In a small box wrapped in tightly bubble wrap. I've shipped shells the same way and they were fine. When sand dollars were shipped to me, they were also packaged that way.

The less movement there is in the box, the less chance of it cracking or chipping. Unless it gets stepped on, that'd be a different story!!
