Questions & Comments

Could you make it more clear please as to the amount of credits to get more than 1? There is no GIN and GIN can not be added now. In 1 comment you state " I would like to get at least. 7600 each." So at 22800 winner gets all 3? Cause in another comment you raise the amount and say you need "at least 32,000 credits for all three". please be more clear and state 7600 to 15199 = 1mug 15200 to 22799 = 2 mugs and over all 3. hate to bid and go high for only 1 mug....

In the description you put "IF GIN IS USED WINNER CAN GET ALL 3 MUGS if amount is agreed upon before auction ends " but you must have know that once a bid is placed you can no long do GIN. And I agree with stparker09, on nov 21 you stated "I would like to get at least. 7600 each" So how can you change it. 22800 would be for all 3. If you did not plan to sell all 3 together you should not have listed them as "COWBOY COLLECTIBLE MUGS " Or shown picture of all 3. And why even speak of GIN in the description and than not set a GIN.Very confusing auction.....

Which is why I stated "message with GIN amount BEFORE bid was placed". I wanted to give the winner the opportunity to negoiate a bid that would be suitable for myself and the winner. At 7600 each for just the mug then you add shipping which will not be cheap-med flat rate box for all three will add almost 7200 credits not including packaging material to ensure unbroken delivery. For someone who wanted all three I gave them an opportunity to get all three, also if someone doesn't have enough credits to get all three the opportunity to bid on just the one mug was also available. Whoever bids first. Also you must know that they automatically take credits out of your available credits when you place a GIN and it is a considerable amount.. The auction plainly states it is for ONE mug unless GIN is used so if someone has bid then the opportunity for GIN is no longer available. I only wanted to give people the opportunity to get 1 mug or all three if Gin amount was enough to cover all expenses. You must agree Listia is based on bidding for what you want-therefore I gave bidders a choice of bidding GIN on all three or bidding on one.

There was really no opportunity to get all 3 as you never set a GIN, And now your saying no matter how high the bids get on this auction the winner only gets 1 mug where in your comment on nov 21st ,you state 7600 for each. Seems unfair to me to change that statement after you made it.

I did not change anything-if all three were wanted you had the opportunity to GIN. YOU can add GIN if no one has bid! If I had put a GIN on at start of auction Listia would have taken at least 1500 credits FROM my account just to set a gin. Then if GIN wasn't used I would be out those credits. The auction clearly stated if GIN not used winner gets ONE mug of choice. On the 21st that person should have offered a bid of 7600 each as stated in auction. On the 23rd I stated 30,000 plus amount to do GIN. I did not know at that moment how much it would be to do GIN. On the 24rth I stated it would be 32,000 for GIN. No one offered GIN. Now, someone has bid so GIN is no longer an option.

But you did change it. When you stated 7600 credits each than everyone looking at this auction takes it as 7600 to 15900 = 1 mug, 15200 to 22799 = 2 mugs and over all 3. As for GIN when you list an auction with GIN you are only charged 50 credits for listing the auction. You only pay a transaction fee to Listia if the GIN is used. So if you were to want 30000 credits for your list you would set up GIN for 33333. After Listia's fees you come out with 30000. And you never pay those credits unless GIN is used. The original 50 credit listing fee will be refunded if GIN is used. This auction is messed up. And you should keep your word about 7600 for each mug and stop trying to change it.

I stated at least 7600. Then you should have sent a message like stated in auction to bid 7600 each for gin! I have the opportunity to accept or counteroffer. You cannot wait if you want something on Listia. It is not MY fault you did not message with a GIN. Everyone HAD the opportunity to message with a GIN-there were NO BIDS! NO ONE DID- They chose to wait. Well, now someone has bid so GIN is not an option. THE END

go to this link "http://www.listia.com/support/topic/get_it_now" to learn more about GIN. Listia only charges 50 credits for listing an auction with GIN. Not at least 1500 credits as you stated. And that 50 is refunded if GIN is used.

To place a gin for 19,000 credits the trans fee is 1900 credits, 50 credits listing fee(refundable IF Gin is used) and you are charged 150 credits to place auction. I just Did this and then deleted the auction. 200 credits taken out to place auction. 1900 credits to use gin - the 50 credit listing fee =1850 credits IF no one used GIN I would be out 200 credits-therefore I only offer Gin if someone is interested. I place to many auctions to lose 200 credits on each auction- I already lose too much just on free shipping.

But you also put in auction Description if amount is agreed upon before auction ends not before a bid is placed. And you did state " I would like to get at least. 7600 each" so your saying now that if the bids reach 15200 the winner would only get 1 mug???? mis leading everyone there........

You know the rules- after someone bids you cannot add GIN.

For those who do not understand how GIN works go to this link.(http://www.listia.com/support/topic/get_it_now) All I was saying was that it would of been so much better if you have of put up a GIN and easier to. Yes Listia takes 10% thats why you add that to your GIN. If you want 30000 you set GIN at 33333. And you only put up 50 credits when you list. not everyone seen this auction before first bid was place.

Yes you should Submit a request and ask that the auction be deleted and start a new one with more details. just go to bottom of page a click on support its next to the rules. than click on submit a support ticket. Any auction you list with a 500 or more starting bid will charge you a listing fee, but to add a GIN you are only out 50 credits to begin with and these are returned to you if the GIN is used. If you want 30000 out of the 3 do the GIN for 33333. This covers Listia's fees if GIN is used. You only put up 50 credits to list any auction with a GIN....I AGREE THIS AUCTION SHOULD BE REMOVED......

I only want to remove it because of the hassle it has caused me. And NO, it was gonna be 200 credits to list an auction with Gin. You now have to pay credits to list an auction with a starting bid of more than 449 credits. 50 credits may not be much to you but, I list a lot of auctions, and it adds up. Add in the fact that most auctions just pay shipping with a little left over for the item. I do not do this to make money, but, I would like to break even or possibly make a little extra credits. And no, I will not delete this auction, there is already a bid. That would not be fair to the one who has already bid.

not fair for someone to believe its 7600 credits each . and yes with or without GIN any auction 500 or more will cost you to list but you stated you did not do GIN cause of the amount of credits it would of cost you and all I am telling you is that it would have only been 50 more credits to do GIN and those credits would have been refunded back to you. the way you set it up there was no guarantee of anyone getting all 3 by the time someone message you ,you get on line message them back and so forward someone could of place a bid. been so much easier to place 50 credits on auction do GIN. You went about this auction the wrong way ...

This auction had 3 whole days without a bid, plenty of time to message me with an offer for GIN. That IS enough said. Please do not post any more negative remarks or I will be forced to block you and hide the message.

you cant change or alter auction after someone has bid so as of now they will go for whoever bids the highest , if you do try to change it listia will delete auction and tell you not to relist or face account deletion .....

They will not go to whoever bids the highest because as stated in auction bidding is for ONE mug UNLESS GIN is used. Winner will receive one mug of their choice. The only loser in this is the ones who wanted all three and did not GIN because of all the squabbling! I stated in auction clearly the terms of auction, but I guess I gave bidders too many options. It won't happen again. I have been with Listia for over 1 year with quite a few auctions listed and believe I know the rules by now. Thank you!

it would have cost her 10 percent of the gin amount if used, i know because half of my auctions use gin, so Karen is correct. also its her auction to do with as she pleases...if you don't like it don't look...lol
