The listing, Vintage Lazy susan, Japanese design, Made in Japan has ended.
Japanese style lazy susan. It has a top compartment with lid. When lid is open there is small melmac type red plates. Take off the next larger lid and there is the lazy susan bowls. Five bowls around outside and one round one in the middle. If you lift this compartment out there is a space where you could possibly put ice if necessary for cold items in the bowls. This rotates. Marked on bottom Est. 1924, Shaddy, Japan. Says also means love. Some of the pics look like this is brown and red but it is black and green, red and white. Many places in the pics look like it is chipped or scratched. It is not. It has been in storage and I did not clean it well before taking the pics. 14" diameter and about 7" tall. Not sure of what this is made. It appears to be wood but on feeling and tapping on the item it doesn't seem like wood. May be a type of bakelite?
