Short answer: NO. Long answer: the discs (and there are three, not two) are in PERFECT condition. Not one scratch...I should post a photo of them also. However, if you're giving this as a gift, keep in mind that the outside tin package is a bit beat up. It's not bad, but you can see in the picture that it has shelf wear. I also failed to mention that there's a button at the top of the package that you press and it plays lines from Three Stooges episodes.
