The listing, VINTAGE Gorgeous Sterling Silver Pin/Brooch, 1930's Era has ended.

This is an amazingly beautiful brooch/pin made of Sterling Silver made in the 1930's. Lovely craftsmanship and detail.

Has a rollover clasp in perfect working order and a hallmark that I can't make out with a loop. It is tarnished, but I have left it this way because I love the look. You may want to clean it, but I will leave that decision up to you.

Measures 2 3/4" long and is 3/4" at it's widest point.

Something to keep in mind when bidding here and elsewhere as the terms are used loosely at times....and it matters because if you call something ANTIQUE and it's not, you're not getting what you think you are! Is it actually marked "sterling"?

It's not marked, at least that we can read. I did have it tested because I don't have the solution to test it with. It is sterling. There is a makers mark, or some sort of mark on the underside of the piece that says something. My husband, and my son, and myself have all looked thru two different loops to see if we can read it and we can't....not even my 17 year old son who has much eyesight than we do!! You can tell by the way it is tarnished that it's sterling, as well.
