In 2016 the sun has turned the entire world into a scorched and barren wasteland. The humans who have survived are either resourseful or violent, and sometimes both. Marie, her little sister Leonie, and best friend Phillip, are in a car headed to the mountains - rumour has it there is water there. Along the way they meet Tom, a first-rate mechanic. But can they trust him? Fraught with deep distrust, the group is lured into an ambush where thier real battle for survival begins.

I never heard of this movie before today must have gone straight to Video only? Sounds good though to me so I'm watching & bidding old friend!

I'm not sure if it went straight to video. I myself never heard of it either. I seen it on listia, read the backside of the Dvd description image the seller had put up, then pulled up a trailer for it on YouTube and thought it looked good. Showed my husband and he liked it. When I received it we couldn't get it to play in english or remove the subtitles. Our remote for the dvd player went missing and its hard to get into the settings manually on the player without the remote. If states its English and had English on the disk and case so it has to play english. I bid and one another copy and it played in english and it looks the exact same to this one. Only difference was the v.f. after the title. The rest was all english so it has to play like that too. I just cant change the settings till the remote shows up.

Omg! I just read and understood whay my description said. I didn't even clue in when I was reading it off the Dvd and typing it. It states its 89 min 2011, Germany. Optional English Subtitled. Optional French Dub Widescreen Rated 14A. So does that mean this plays in German and it says it in English on the bottom of the screen. * I will happily refund your credits if you win and don't want it. Can't believe i didn't clue in til now.

Now I know wny the other copy I won has it in english words but the actors mouths don't line up properly..haha! German movie, that's why.
