FREE: Kindle 2nd Generation

Hi there! Somewhat a technological "dinosaur", what exactly is a "2nd generation" mean? Also, what is the size of the memory, and is it wifi or 3G/4G (meaning you don't news internet to download books, works like a smartphone)? Can't wait to hear back. Have a great Thanksgiving!!

Also, where in Missouri do you live? Am your neighbor in KS. Would be willing to meet to pick up if I'm high bidder, just a thought.... : )

2nd generation, the 2nd version of the Kindle. You download books from Amazon.com. It was my first Kindle. I now have the Kindle Fire. I work in KS, so if in KC area meeting to pick up vs shipping an option.

Even if not in "perfect condition" is a'ok with me as my nook is "gently loved" hee hee!

Not sure how the Nook works, but it may be similar to the 2nd Generation Kindle. I love my Kindle Fire. I used reward money I got at work to purchase it. The Kindle is in perfect condition.Reminder: it is one of the early models, not a new version.

Hi Lauren, I hope you had a great Thanksgiving! Hate to bother u again....do u know what the difference in the Kindle Fire is between the earlier one (like u have) and the newer one? Sorry to ask, just not all that "techy" is all. : )

do you have the cords with this? Are there any books on it? What condition is this in?
