Woah lots of blocked comments lol. I'm happy to hear a 1965 quarter is worth a dollar though. I have like ten of them. sweet! What is the metal composition of a 1965 quarter. I always think they are silver because of the feel of them although I know they arent 90%

>>>Yes, Craig: As I stated above, I erase stupid/disrespectful comments, I do not mess with anybody, so, I do not tolerate that.
Us 1965 Quarters are made of Cupro-Nickel composition; looks like silver because nickel itself is pretty similar; that's the reason why many Chinese coin dealers have screwed up folks, like me years ago (LOL), selling counterfeit Morgan Dollars, Seating Liberty, etc., made of nickel , instaed of pure silver.
Now, US Quarters were made of silver up to 1964, when President Nixon signed the "Coinage Act", for which US stopped to mint Silver coins owing to Silver price was rising.
