^ Umm who asked for your input ;'p if it weren't for the PS1 you wouldn't have a PS3 plus PS3 games are straight out gay, PS1 & PS2 were the best hands down, being a true gamer would say that the PS1 was a masterpiece compared to the PS3

It should play PS1 games, like my older slim model does, but who cares... they're so old anyway. The graphics look terrible on any modern hdtv. You want to play PS2 games? Get a ps2 console for $20 or buy them in 1080hd through the store.

This is not rev compatible meaning it won't play PS1 or PS2 games just PS3 games or downloads sucks but if you swap out hd for the older firmware like the first PS3 the bulky one with no updates on firmware or dump into but this one you'd have to mod crack to play rev compatible, hope this helps ;')
