Any history? Story?

It belonged to an elderly lady as a child and she gave it to my late husband. Her father either made it for her or gave it to her. I'm not really sure. All I know is that it is old.

All I know is that this elderly lady gave it to my husband cause she likes him and he did some odd job for her for free. She said it was hers when she was a little girl and the only reason she has kept it this long was because her father made it for or gave it to her. I don't really know much except that. I do know that it is old and is too pretty to just throw away. I have no idea how to restore it and my husband works 6 days a week and doesn't have the time. Even if he did restore it, all I have are boys and they're not exactly into doll houses. lol I would hate to see this tossed into the fire can or tossed into the trash. My husband was going to throw it away and I said no, that I would find a good home for it. It just needs someone to restore it back to it used to be and it would be a very pretty conversation piece or a great present for a little girl who will take care of it. It could become a family heirloom that can be passed down from generation to generation. I wish I had a little girl because I would have it restored for her. I really just want it to go to a good home where it will be restored and appreciated.

Thank you. I though it was really pretty myself and that it deserved a good home. My boyfriend was going to burn it for firewood, but I stopped him in hopes of finding a nice home for it. I hope whomever gets it restores it and makes it beautiful.
