Description

The listing, HUGE Lot ~2500 - Magic the Gathering Cards - Common, Uncommon, Rare has ended.

Do you play Magic the Gathering?
Do you collect Magic the Gathering?
Do you just wish you owned thousands of colorful cards?

Well then this auction is definitely for you!

This auction is for approximately 2,500 (two thousand, five hundred) Magic the Gathering 3rd Edition/Revised cards - almost all which are in pristine condition, having barely been used, and have been stored in plastic ziplock baggies in a box for years.

The Blue and Red element cards have been sorted into Common, Uncommon, Rare and Land, and the rest are sorted just by element - e.g. White, Black, Green, and Artifact. There are approximately 400-500 cards of each element, plus about 200 Artifact cards. The Common cards of each element are definitely the most abundant, all of which repeat to some degree. Each color also comes with about 15-25 land cards each.

To give you a better idea of the contents of each color, here's a SMALL sampling of the just the Red element cards:

----------------------------------------------
Common - Lightning Bolt (13)
Common - Fireball (14)
Common - Disintegrate (14)
Common - Goblin Rock Sled (15)
Common - Stone Rain (16)

Uncommon - Detonate (4)
Uncommon - Wall of Stone (3)
Uncommon - Wall of Fire (5)
Uncommon - Fire Elemental (5)
Uncommon - Dragon Whelp (4)

Rare - Chaoslace (2)
Rare - Manabarbs (2)
Rare - Inferno (1)
Rare - Mana Flare (3)
Rare - Crimson Manticore (2)
----------------------------------------------

Good luck, and happy bidding!

Those cards don't have the washed out color of revised cards. They look like 4th & 5th edition. Especicially since Crimson Manticore are the bottom the second picture was in 4th & 5th edition.

You are correct. These are 4th edition. My son wrote the ad, as these were his, and I didn't know anything about editions until you mentioned it. I went to a collector's site to verify their edition, and by the copyright date (1995), these are indeed 4th edition. I'll go right now to edit the ad. Thanks!!

Are these all 4th/5th? Awesome auction!

I would say that 99% are 4th edition, and I say that only because there are just a small number (dozen or so?) that are mixed in that came from my son's friends. I think they're still 1995 copyright cards, but we would have to go through each and every one of the ~2500 cards to verify the exact number. Like I said though, should be no more than a dozen or so. Thanks for asking!

Would you be willing to do a BIN?

Nah, I don't like GIN's. I never know what to put, so I just leave it up to you all to figure what's it's worth with your bids. Easier for me, fair for you. I figure it's best that way. Thanks for asking, though. Good luck!!
