They are made of polmer clay and are about 2" long ( they feel like a flexible plastic stick) you can use them for nail art by slicing very thin (100+ slices a cane) then you glue or use nail polish to put them on(latest craze for nails) or decorate photo frames, scrap books, phones, notebooks etc or you can slice them thicker drill a hole in them and use them for bracelets and necklaces. They are used for so many things. To slice you can use a tissue blade its like $3-5 online or I just use an exacto knife or blade you can get replacement blades real cheap at the dollar store.

Per Listia Rules I think its to help verify that it is a physical address and there is no question as to what your address is. Im sure its to help with shipping issues. I know i had an issue with someone and all they had verified was fb and they messaged me their address and then tried to get their credits back after i kept asking for a verified address and they never contacted me back.
