The listing, Internal DVD Recorder has ended.

I have a never used (but opened box) DVD recorder. This is the kind you slip into a bay in the back of your desktop computer. It was given to me by a friend that moved to Vegas. He said he never actually had a chance to use it but he bought it brand new at Staples a few months ago. It has wires and hardware. Also a Lightscribe cd. I believe that creates covers or something. Also has install cd. Its a little heavy so Im going to need some help with the shipping.

Not to sound stupid, but a dvd recorder. Means you can make copy of dvd's? like you can a cd? and your pc has to have a dvd player already?

Ok. I think I figured it out. You can actually download movies off the internet and burn them onto a dvd. Same with music. You can record onto a dvd what you have already on your computer, like photos, music, movies etc. Then the stuff is mobile. Now I wish I had a desktop computer. It says on the box dvd/cd writer. So it handles both dvd and cd.

Correct this can read & write (copy & burn) both DVD's and CD's.

It has also where, if you get the special ightscribe DVD disks, burn a custom label onto the top of your DVD!

This drive can read CD's and DVD, but *NOT* Blu-Ray.

Should use 1 standard bay in the front of a desktop computer. :)
