once you get the hang of the loom it is pretty simple to make things. Have made quiet a few things on mine. How long is the loom? Would like to try and get it.. :-)

the working area is about 6 inches long, the whole thing is about 10 inches long

never tried yarn, the gaps where you string the loom are too small to put yarn across it. You would need a bigger one for that. Check you locate craft stores. They should have some for sale. or give you a better responds.
