Description

The listing, Chain Necklace, "14K Italy" has ended.

Please read this entire description, as I will not refund for any reason.

This is a Gold toned necklace which is missing the claspy bit that holds one side to the other, you can see both ends in the pictures. The necklace is 24" long and weighs 15.7 grams. I do not know anything about jewelry, how to tell if it is real gold or not, but I do know that it is stamped with " 14K Italy" on one side of the clasp, and I imagine that means it is 14K gold. Is it possible that someone forged that stamp onto a necklace that isn't 14K Gold? Of course it is. Would I know if that's the case here? Probably not. I also know that when held to a strong magnet, the necklace does not react. Also I know it's the color of gold, and it's heavy. I don't really wear much nice jewelry, this has been in my jewelry armoire for ages, so I figure someone else will get more wear out of it than me. Happy Bidding.

Absolutely not, and I'm glad you brought that up. I will remind everyone here that I do not make any claims as to the actual metal used in the forging of this necklace. Please pay attention to the description, I will not be refunding due to bidders lack of attention.

If you have had it for years back then gold wasn't that high but now gold has went so high it could be worth more than you thank. And if magnet does not pick it up well it could be real gold. It is very nice . If it is gold you might want to think twice about having it for just credit. You might be better off selling it. Great Auction F&W Good Luck

In the expanded picture that shows the stamp it looks like there is a lot of green on the end. Is that just in the pic, or is there an actual green coloring there near the chain end?

Saje you should go to a jewlers because if it were to be real it would be worth a couple hundred dollars easy!

What really?? ok well no way it's real then, I think. I've had it forever, but I think my parents woulda said something like "hey take care of this" if it were super valuable... however I should call mom and look into it, maybe.

Yes saje with the economy being so Bahhh the value of gold is incredibly inflated and gold is something that will never lose it's value because there will never be more of it that's why its such a stable form of currency. I said 200 $ but it's weight is what really determines it's value it could be worth, in gold, 400-650_ish but that's just eyeballing it.
