The listing, In Search of The Real Spirit of Christmas has ended.

In Search of the Real Spirit of Christmas, 208 page new paperback. Why does the Christmas spirit seem so elusive? What is the real Christmas spirit anyway? The author has advice for what to do when it doesn't feel like Christmas.

Please note: We post a postage amount for each auction; you should expect to pay that amount. Please do not ask us for free shipping; if you are going to be upset because we charge shipping, please do not bid. If this sounds "harsh" please read the bad feedbacks posted for me by people who have not listed as many auctions in a year as I have had won in a single day. We love PayPal and accept checks, MOs, USPS stamps, and cash (not recommended). We ask that when your wins arrive that if there is a problem you contact us so we can solve the problem. Otherwise, please post feedback so we know you got the item and we can then post feedback for you.

Hi Merrillewis75 - I, myself, like this seller and the large amount of interesting books he lists and I trust him that he's not listing books that are trashed. So what I do when I'm looking at his listings is open a new tab with amazon.com in it and copy and paste the title of the book and then I can read about it and see what it looks like, and lots of times they have one you can look inside of and read some of the text and see some of the photos. So then I know if the book is interesting to me or not. I'd rather see this seller continue listing lots and lots of interesting books than have him take the time to take photos. So I just thought I'd share with you. Have a good day, Lynne

Hey, lynneterry5, are you married? I have spent a life time looking for a sweet, understanding LADY and I think she just found me. You don't know how much your words mean to me after the terrible things a couple of others have posted in feedback! I must admit that I seem to keep adding some really great bidders to my collection! Right now you make NO. 8 I think that just keep bidding which is why I have trouble keeping these auction up to my Listia max of 100. Not to mention many that repeat back along as I add something they like. I spend at least eight hours almost every day on here and more on some days. I am on mornings, afternoons, and usually nights until 1 or 2 a.m. and love every minute of it now that I have a few @%&@#$ blocked! And, yes, I know some of my bidders don't like the postage, but I am barely making it on a minimum SS check in my retirement years after having my life's work all wiped out by health and rental property disasters. Enough of that, I am wading through the garages; took two big boxes of books to one of our charity stores today because they are not suitable for any of the five sites I am on presently. Eventually I will get around to listing some great hardcovers that I call coffee table books. And even some really fantastic cookbooks because I do have some duplicates of the 3,000 + that are in my collection. This is entirely too long, but I just had to make a reply. One last thing: any bidder who reads this, if my description does not tell you enough, send me a note. And if you get a book from me that has a problem I did not catch, let me know. We will work something out to your satisfaction. Now while I get back to finding more to post, you please get back to looking (and hit those watch buttons please so I can get another badge!), bidding! Thanks to all you great bidders; you are making an old senile man happy in his late years! Jay
