yes it should. those computers only hold 2Gs max so it will depend on what you have in it already. if you already have a 2g stick in it then you wouldn't be able to add this one to the other slot. you would have to use (2) 1g sticks.

all im saying that in no way is that stick better then any other one out there ok i know that for a fact and this one isnt worth no 50 bucks lol thats all im saying also when it comes to computer parts like this brand name isnt a factor they all use the same micro chips i learned that in class a year ago

my husband has been working on computers since the 80s and the chips are different. they come from different manufacturers and some use better materials than others...not sure what class you were taking but that is not accurate. 2 years ago when those sticks came on the market we paid $100 for a set of 2 and he put one in a computer that he sold and hung on to this one

...and hey either way its free on here anyway...however many credits someone wants to bid will determine how high it can go. if you want to bid then bid, if not then dont.

yes but things have changed since then alot of companys use the same chips as everyone else this one here uses the exact same ones as kingston and pny only difference is the manufacture of the board that its put on im not doubting you that these were top of the line but the one thing i have learned that all ram is the same the only exception is the speed now. i work in the IT department at work all im doing is going back to school to refresh myself on all the new technology that is comming out lol and yes i did bid because my kids computer needs more ram bad lol i never doubted that these are good ones but with the way times are now ram is all the same nothing is top of the line anymore thats all im saying

it is DDR2 SDRAM - SDRAM stands for Synchronous dynamic random access memory. SDRAM has a synchronous interface, meaning that it waits for a clock signal before responding to control inputs and is therefore synchronized with the computer's system bus. The data storage area is divided into several banks, allowing the chip to work on several memory access commands at a time, interleaved among the separate banks.

I believe you are thinking of SD like and SD card that you can use for a phone or camera. That would be a totally different thing.
