Small Vintage Florentine Box Toleware Italy Tole
These are in excellent condition. T is a little bit of wear, but it definitely adds to the vintage appeal. Most of the wear is in in the inside of the box and is mainly just some chipping/worn paint. The box has something stuck on the inside that resembles foam insulation residue. This can definitely be scrapped off, but we will leave that to the winning bidder as we do not wish to harm the box. The small hinges are in great condtion as well. They are intact and allow the lid to move freely.
Specifications
The box has an antiqued golden finish. Other than the gold and turquoise blue Box - Measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" and stands 1 3/4" tall. This box is colored pretty much half and half with a gold and blue diamond pattern, but the center of each gold piece of the pattern is accented with a white dot. The inside of this box is painted white. This box's lid is also attached with two wire hinges. The bottom of the box has a tag that reads: "ATTENTION! The finish of this item is ANTIQUED, imitating 13th. Century originals. Fomerz quality. N. 33/640 Made in Italy."
These are beautiful and are good for classy knick-knack storage. These would add a touch of Italy to your coffee table, night stand, or even your office!
