They are 'Day Of The Dead', 'Artist Trading Cards/Art Cards Editions and Originals'. DOTD is just a style of art similar or about the same as 'Sugar Skull' style art. Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos) is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico and around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. It is particularly celebrated in Mexico, where it is a national holiday, and all banks are closed. The celebration takes place on November 1 and 2, in connection with the Catholic holidays of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. They also leave possessions of the deceased. People who celebrate this event each year will dress up and have their faces painted similar to the ones I do as ATC/ACEO cards.
I hope this explains it al ittle more for you. If not, just ask and I will try to give you more info.
Thanks for asking.
Blessings,
~Theresa

Oh, and Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards baseball cards,[1] or 21⁄2 by 31⁄2 inches (63 mm × 89 mm),[2] small enough to fit inside standard card-collector pockets, sleeves or sheets.[3] The ATC movement developed out of the mail art movement and has its origins in Switzerland.[4] Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals or cloth. The cards are usually traded or exchanged. When sold, they are usually referred to as art card editions and originals (ACEOs).
