Ginkgo (Ginkgo biloba; in Chinese and Japanese 銀杏, pinyin romanization: yín xìng, Hepburn romanization: ichō or ginnan), also spelled gingko and known as the maidenhair tree, is a unique species of tree with no close living relatives. The ginkgo is a living fossil, as a unique species recognizably similar to fossils dating back 270 million years. Native to China,[3] the tree is widely cultivated and introduced early in human history, and has various uses as a food and in traditional medicine.

What kind of weather can this stand or needs to be in? It gets around 120 degrees here where I live but would LUV to have this it would be different to have from what everyone else around here has which is mesquite trees n palm trees n cactuses...lol

It was at least that this past summer here. i think it would survive the climate. only guessing, yet, the last couple summers here have been in that range at it hasn't harmed the trees i know of here. they are after all living fossils. prehistoric. so they have already survived much.

They were taken from a tree that was on a house this last storm season

The tree slid down a hill and landed on a house and unfortunately was removed in sections
