The listing, Fig Tree Seeds Germination Tested, 20+ Seeds! has ended.
20+ Fig Tree Seeds from fig tree parents that have no ID, but they're not black mission fig. It was a fig I started years and years ago from seeds I got from a friend. Fig seeds, like apple seeds, carry widely varying DNA making it impossible to know what the traits of the seedlings will be, even if both parents of that fig are the same kind. So, with 20+ seeds, you could get figs that are a LOT better than black mission figs, who knows?
I tested this group of seeds to make sure they had embryos inside. The seeds up for auction all sank to the bottom of a cup of water, signifying that these seeds are fertile.
Fig tree seeds can take time to germinate and may be tricky. A lot of people find good success using the baggie method of germination, keeping the seeds warm and wet for a long period of time. Other people find success by gently chemically scarifying the seeds by soaking them for a short period in vinegar before germination. There's enough seeds here to try whatever you want.
