Spawn comic books enjoyed considerable popularity upon their release in the 1990s, which was notable for a non-DC and non-Marvel character. Todd McFarlane, the series creator, stated that his goal was for Spawn to become as well known as Superman and Spider-Man. McFarlane had already enjoyed superstar status among comic book fans with his work on Spider-Man, which had featured McFarlane's name prominently as both writer and artist. The first issue of Spawn was very popular, selling 1.7 million copies.

is this Auction legit and are you willing to ship the item after someone wins said Auction?i am asking everyone this question with a 0 after getting screwed over by people who list an Auction but never ship the items or responding to the messages i sent thus having to get a refund and leaving negative feedback. not to be a jerk, but i am sick of being screwed over on items i won, but never getting the items i won and having to get refunds.

Totally understandable. and yes this is legit i own over 5000+ comic books and i have about 30 -40 Spawn #1 first edition in my collection i bought them when they first came out and know how much they are worth. i decided to put one copy up for grabs on here cause i need more points to get something i want personally. but feel free to add my facebook or twitter account if that makes you or anyone feel a bit more comfortable. but if i put it up on auction whom ever wins any of my items will get what they bid on unless something happens then i will personally apologize and refund your credits without any problem what so ever.

he is also one of my all time fav as well. i have tons of the action figures still sealed in box from the MCFARLANE series. i collect those as well.

i know the feeling man. i have so many collections from all sorts of brands of comic books action figures and
MLB,NBA NSL NHL and so forth that i'm getting reed of only what i have doubles of. lol
