Hi, can you tell me how old this thread is? Has it been stored in a cool dry place, not exposed to sunlight? The reason I ask is if thread is exposed to sunlight and dampness, it breaks easily while sewing with it! Nice assortment. Thanks

This thread has been stored. I checked the spools, its very hard to tear any of it. I usually do that to test all thread I buy and use. Thanks for looking

I would imagine its quilting thread. But can be used for sewing. My mom gave it to me and I havent actually used any of it.
