My biggest secret stash enablers are actually Goodwill, thrift shops, yard/garage sales, and Listia LOL I've found some of my nicest fabrics at Goodwill and local thrift shops. Of course everything I've gotten from Listia has been awesome! But my best deals are still yardsales and Goodwills. Goodwills usually have a craft section, and they put any remnants/yardages with the curtains, blankets, and such on hangers. It's wonderful!

I don't have any of those places at all. The clostest ones are about 15-20 away. OK, I know what you're thinkin. "15-20???? That's not far at all". But, I am on a reeeeeally low income and can't hardly affort to go to my pharm. to get my meds once a month.
But...................thanks for you secret of finding the best stash.

I understand, I live in one of those kinda towns too. It's a half hour trip to the closest WalMart, which is where my Mom gets her meds. Mine are at the KMart right down the rode, and in between in the GoodWill. So I plan a day out when it's pick up the meds time. Try to schedule Dr's apts. those days too since they're all in the same town. Fortunately, a non-denominational youth center opened here in town and they support their ministry with a thrift shop. So, any time fabric, findings, or craft supplies come in I always get a call LOL. In return I donate all our outgrown kids clothes to them. That's where I got some of my girls school clothes this year, nice stuff. The rest I made for them.
