This is for one New Rocketfish 2.5 Hard Drive case. It has everything you need in it and of course it is ready for you to put your hard drive in it. This item makes taking your hard drive with you a lot easier and safer of course as this is a metal casing for your hard drive. It is VERY sturdy and tough. Plug and play no external power is required. I have one like this and it is wonderful. Buyer pays shipping of just the hard drive to save on cost. The box is NOT in good shape any how. Unless you just want the box. If so let me know and I will find out what that will cost. Please ask any and ALL questions BEFORE bidding as always. Thank you and God bless. Please understand, I feel removing this item after I put it up here just to "Sell" it to another person would not be ethical practice nor would I sleep well after doing something like that. sorry im feeling dumb ,this does take a harddrive that comes from a laptop ?and does it have the hook-ups for sata or the other?

Forgive me for not answering. I did not see your question in time. NO need to feel dumb, the ONLY DUMB question is the ones you DON'T ask.

This works with 2.5" EIDE/AYA Hard Drives. Of course it hooks to your computer via USB port.

DON'T do what I did. I bought one from the Internet thinking I could toss my Desktop hard drive in it and when it got here I was like, "HMMM, that seems a bit small for this. I don't think I can get it in there even with a plunger." LOL
