K. Well, I'm not going to be a coincided jerk like a previous commenter, but unless a coin of that age still have visible etching on the feathers on the eagles breast, and the hair over Washington's ears, it is considered to be a lower grade coin, not even able to be marked as "fine". This makes the estimates for values by place of minting less than $2 to $3 for Philadelphia, $10 to $15 for Denver and $5 to $7 for San Francisco. However, I am personally not one to always want a mint condition coin. I love having a well circulated silver quarter in my pocket at all times to play with. I can hold it with direct contact and thing about all the people over the years that have used that coin for a million different purchases. That, to me, is priceless.
