The listing, Emergency Radio New in Box AM/FM/WEATHER has ended.

New in Box. GPX (brand) weatherband radio flashlight, for when the power goes out or bad weather. It has 3 different power options, AM/FM/Weather band. Batteries not included! This unit is manual unit it does not scan, it has a digital clock with alarm. I tested with batteries the flash light works and the radio works, the alarm went off when set, other than that I have not used this.
The package says: Water Resistant, Flash light with siren blink, Emergency siren, built in rechargeable batteries, Hand Crank dynamo charging system, DC jack adapter not included, uses 6 AA batteries not included

We have smokers and pets in the home.

does it scan with white noise where it keeps scanning tell you get a station

The box says NOAA 7-channell weather alert , on the top of the unit there are the words "instant weather with storm alert siren" on the front of the unit there is a 7 position switch numbered 1 - 7, I do not see the word scan on the unit so I believe you would have to use the 7 position switch until you find a station. I have never used this unit, we have a different one. Hope that helps!
