This is one of those as seen on TV things. I thought my cats ( who love to hang out in windows) would really love this. It attaches to a sturdy window with suction cups at the top of the anchor cables and shelf height. One of the cats tried it for about 10 seconds when I put her in there and she jumped right out. It's a colder north window and the only one wide enough for this gadget. SOOoooooo, it goes...

I have had a lot of items with suction things such as that, why would this hold an 8 lb cat or two of them? With my gut feeling i feel that this window do hickey, is not good, Can you prove me wrong? I am not saying "YOU" per-say, are selling a bad item because you didn't make it, I have two cats and i kept looking at it and thinking of the suction coming lose little by little just when she is relaxed it drops her,. not a pretty site!! this is what I am saying,,,

I had it in my window for about a month and the suction held nicely...I did have that same idea of cats falling...but it is rated for 50# of cats. I did inspect the suction cups when I first put it up for stregnth and quality...They looked really good to me. If you are still worried, maybe put in another line from the top if there might be a curtain rod or do an eye bolt into the header. It was fairly hard to take the suction cups back off. I had to dig under one side with my fingernail to 'un-suck' them.
