This is a combination 3.5in internal floppy drive with an 18 in 1 card reader built into it. If you have a computer that has a regular floppy drive and no card reader you can replace it with this and have both! This item is new but I have removed it from the box and tested it out and it works perfectly.

I got this to put into a system a while back then just never got done building it. You don't see many of this type so grab this one while you can! Way low starting bid and free shipping too on this!

ya I did,did you look at the second to last picture ,you know the one with the usb wires coming out the back .

And yes the usb wire I left hooked up that is how you connect it internally in your tower to usb duh!

Ok, yea I see what you mean. The black cable in that picture does not appear to have been originally included as an accessory, however using that cable, you could connect/use the card reader as an external reader. The only real issues with this setup would be that the floppy drive would not work, and because of the metal chassis, the reader would look ugly sitting on a computer desk.

The floppy also works I have tested it and no it is not meant to sit outside on the desk it is for internal use to be installed in the computer tower.

I clearly state it is internal folks and yes it works with all windows as well! And the USB cord which I left attached just so you could see how it went does come with it folks!
