There were 2 versions of the Jefferson nickel in 1942. The first one was 75% copper and 25% nickel and the second contained 35% silver.
Revised note: I did some research on the 1942 and found this information: "It is the Silver nickel that has the large Mint mark over the dome on Monticello. The Regular Copper/Nickel Philadelphia issue had no mint mark."
I will substitute the 1942 with a 1943P 35% silver nickel.
